HILLARY GAMBLES ON FOX APPEARANCE

Beginning tonight, Bill O'Reilly will be showing part one of a two-part interview with Hillary. It's a smart move for Hillary to finally venture into the "No Spin Zone" because it puts tremendous pressure on Obama to do the same. The price of poker just went up.

Many are speculating on how Hillary will do in this interview. Last night Conan O'Brien answered the question for us:

"Tomorrow night on Fox News, Hillary Clinton is gonna be making her first ever appearance on Bill O'Reilly's show, 'The O'Reilly Factor.' Yeah, Hillary should do well, 'cause she has years of experience yelling 'Shut up, Bill!'" --Conan O'Brien

I have years of experience as well.

REV. WRIGHT: THE GIFT THAT KEEPS ON GIVING

Obama's "FORMER" spiritual advisor, Rev. Wright, just keeps yappin' away. So much so, some are beginning to think Hillary and McCain are paying Wright to do it, because none of his rhetoric is helping Obama's cause. For a Monday, this is good. And, as Marathon Pundit reports, guess who's providing security for Wright? Looking around the net, it appears everyone is posting something about the good Rev.

Uncle Jimbo linked a video that won't be helping, either. And there will be more of these vids coming soon. One after another...

SENATOR OBAMA GIVES IN TO "OBAMA WATCH"; AGREES TO FOX INTERVIEW WITH CHRIS WALLACE

UPDATE: Transcript here.
UPDATE: VIDEO HERE.

Over two years ago, Obama promised Chris Wallace that he'd come on his Sunday show, but he never fulfilled that promise. So, Wallace began the Obama Watch, a count up clock styled after the "24" countdown clock.

Wallace's clock counted how many days it had been since the senator promised to come on the show--days, hours, minutes, and seconds...tick...tick...tick.

Obama Watch seems to have worked. Senator Obama will be appearing tomorrow on Wallace's Fox News Sunday show. You do not want to miss this one. Not only will we see how Obama answers the questions, we'll also get to see what Wallace is really made of.

Watch it now because Obama Watch will be ending...maybe O'Reilly will start one as well. "Don't block the shot!"

SOMETHING VERY STRANGE IS HAPPENING IN OKLAHOMA; COULD HAPPEN IN OTHER STATES

From WND:

"Unemployment rates are rising across the United States, except Oklahoma. That state is experiencing the most dramatic reduction in unemployment since 2007, an improvement many in Oklahoma attribute to the passage last year by the state legislature of a strong employment-focused immigration reform law."

That's right, last year Oklahoma passed real "immigration reform," and not the kind that benefits illegals, either. This legislation put the taxpaying citizens of Oklahoma back to work, you know, doing those jobs officials in Washington say we're not willing to do.

Last year, Andrea Shea-King interviewed the bill's sponsor, State Rep. Randy Terrill. Recently, Rep. Terrill had this to say:

"Oklahoma is no longer 'OK' for illegal aliens," said State Rep. Randy Terrill, who sponsored House Bill 1804 which passed by overwhelming majorities last year in both the House (84-14) and Senate (41-6) of the Oklahoma Legislature.

"The bottom line is illegal aliens will not come here if there are no jobs waiting for them," Terrill said. "They will not stay here if there is no government subsidy, and they certainly won't stay here if they know that if they ever encounter our state and local law enforcement officers, they will be physically detained until they are deported."

And as you might expect, John McCain probably won't be commenting on this reversal in unemployment, either in Oklahoma or his home state of Arizona. Arizona has also adopted this "get tough" strategy with illegals, so I suspect that Arizona will be having some employment gains as well.

McCAIN TAKING THE HIGH ROAD...AGAIN

Via Michelle Malkin...McCain is denouncing this ad and wants nothing to do with it. Whether you believe McCain or not--and I don't--he will reap the benefits of its stinging truths about Obama. This ad is being played in NC, a state where Obama holds a huge lead, and could very well help Hillary close the gap. Watch and learn...there's more about the William Ayers connection to the Obamas too.

Also posting: Chicago's Marathon Pundit covers William Ayers--pay close attention to the linkage at the bottom.

EVERYTHING I KNOW ABOUT TUESDAY'S PRIMARY I LEARNED AT HOTAIR; ED MORRISSEY, ALLAHPUNDIT GO ABOVE AND BEYOND

After the polls closed in Pa. Tuesday evening, Ed and AP ran an open thread over at HotAir that kept us well informed as the numbers came in. I've watched many a "live blogging" of these primaries but this is as good as it gets. They offered instant polls, links to news, took questions from participants as well as adding their own viewpoints.

During our radio show Tuesday, I took info from Ed and AP and passed it to Andrea, who would then keep our listeners informed of the latest developments.

The platform they used is simply the best--no refreshing needed--just an instantaneous flow of information. I encourage you to give them a try next primary. Great job, Ed Morrissey and Allahpundit!!

Now, remember when the NYT endorsed Hillary for president? Sure you do. Looks like they're taking back that endorsement, at least that's the way I'm reading it. Here's Wednesday's NYT Opinion page article.

VIET NAM ERA FIRE BOMBER DIES; HAS FRONT ROW, RESERVED SEATING CLOSE TO THE FIRE

First, let me just say this right up front: there is no connection whatsoever between this man and the Obama Campaign, so don't go gettin' any ideas.

This man, Martin Balin, was one of those anti-war protesters from the Viet Nam era. Another from that era, William Ayers, enjoyed blowing up buildings, but not Balin; he liked to set them on fire. And he got caught, went to jail. Not long enough, either. Just my opinion.

When I read the obit headline, I figured he must be connected to Ayers' group, the Weather Underground. Though Ayres is not mentioned by name, the WU is mentioned, as is the famous, accidental bombing of the town house in Greenwich Village.

In the final sentence of Balin's obit, they describe his last employment position. I thought it ironic given that his choice of protest would inevitably lead to the maiming and killing of innocent people.

Anyway, Balin is now dead, and where he's going there will be plenty of fire.

Enjoy.

LOOKING BACK AT LAST WEEK

For past couple weeks I've been busy taking care of some personal business, and since my mind was on other matters, blogging was limited. These things happen. And it looks like I'll be somewhat busy again this week, so blogging will more than likely be sparse. Soon, though, I'll be back in action. In the meantime, don't leave me!!! Wishing all of you a great week ahead.

VOIGHT TALKS PATRIOTISM AND HOLLYWOOD

On Wednesday, Jon Voight was interviewed by Glenn Beck. The interview was so good that Beck kept him way past his allotted time--it ended up being half the show. Here's part of the interview:

You can read the entire interview transcript here. Just scroll about two thirds down, it begins after the (commercial break). Voight has a lot to say, and it would be great if more like-minded folks in Hollywood would step up and join him.

GEN. PETRAEUS TO BATTLE SENATE DEMS--I'LL BE WATCHING FOR HILLARY TO BUST A MOVE

If you follow politics at all, then you're aware that this week is shaping up to be one of the best this political season has to offer. General Petraeus will be facing down House and Senate committee members when he makes his report and fields their questions.

Judging from the list of players on just the Senate side, it becomes clear that this will be a very important week for a select few. Petraeus will be questioned by all three White House Contenders--McCain, Obama, and Her Royal Pantsuit.

McCain has never wavered on the war effort, so it's the one area he gets across-the-board support from the conservative base. I see him setting up for a big score.

Obama and Clinton, on the other hand, are in a tricky situation. Both will be trying to appear presidential while not pissing off their handlers at Moveon and Code Pink. Obama can probably continue to do what he does best: be Obama, and not get into too much trouble.

Clinton, however, is playing catch up on the campaign trail. Time is running short and I see her having to make something happen at this hearing. But whenever you try to force a play, more times than not it results in failure. Keep your eye on Clinton.

Speaking of Clinton, our friend, John McJunkin of the Voice of Liberty Podcast Network, runs a weekly series called "Why Mrs. Clinton Will Never Be President." His series is slotted to run for 50 weeks and he's up to Reason #20 this week. But the way things are going for Clinton, I see McJunkin ending the series well short of the 50. Listen to Reason #20 here. It runs just over 4 minutes. In the end, however, I hope McJunkin is wrong about Clinton. I want her to win the nomination so bad I can taste it.

If you're interested in seeing who'll be questioning General Petraeus from the Senate, click the links for Armed Services and Foreign Relations. Trust me, with the likes of Kerry, Byrd, Biden, and Kennedy asking the questions, entertainment-wise, you can't go wrong.

SECRETARY OF COMMERCE, RONALD HARMON BROWN, AUG 1, 1941--APRIL 3, 1996

Just days after Ron Brown's plane crashed in Croatia, a U.S. military transport carrying the dead touched down at Dover AFB.

In his latest article, Jack Cashill reminds us of the day Ron Brown died, the aftermath, and the still unanswered questions. There's an Obama angle as well. From the WND article:

In early December 1997, after 18 months of successful damage control by the White House, the black community in Chicago finally learned of the anomalies in the death of Ron Brown.

Bill Clinton's secretary of commerce, Brown had dreamed of becoming America's first black president from the time he was a little boy. And although he was, as Joe Biden might have put it, as "articulate and bright and clean" as Barack Obama, he never got the chance.

Brown died on April 3, 1996 – 12 years ago today – when the U.S. Air Force plane in which he and 34 others were flying crashed "inexplicably" into a Croatian mountainside near Dubrovnik.--continue reading.

Remember Bill Clinton at Brown's funeral? Poor guy. He was so emotionally conflicted that even I felt his pain, and I know you did too. But just in case your memory's faded, let Rush Limbaugh bring it all back into focus:
