BILL AYERS TALKS; MELANIE MORGAN, PROTESTERS TALK BACK--Updated

***UPDATE: Larry Grathwohl, the former FBI informant that infiltrated the Weather Underground, was at the protest last night with Melanie. Grathwohl will be interviewed on THE ANDREA SHEA-KING SHOW tonight. Show starts at 9 pm ET. Grathwohl will be on at 9:30 ET. More on Grathwohl here. Andrea's blog here.

In case you missed it, here's the interview.

***

Because he was fast becoming a political liability, Bill Ayers quietly took his place under the bus until Obama was elected as our 44th. Now that the coast is clear, the domestic terrorist is again on the prowl. This time, however, he just wants to talk to your children.

Last night at a Northern California college, Ayers did some talking. Also at the college was Melanie Morgan and hundreds of protesters who had a few things to say as well. Read the full story at Mel's site and follow the links to other great coverage. (Take note of the "open-minded" student at the end of the video)

VETERANS BALL CANCELED, ORGANIZER MISSING

This is so wrong, especially since the streets of Washington are flooded with cash. You'd think someone (Obama) would've stepped in to save this Ball. Can't wait until they locate the organizer. From the Navy Times:

"If you bought tickets to the Veterans’ Inaugural Ball, plan on staying home.

The ball, which was to be held Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the St. Regis Hotel in Washington, D.C., has been canceled and the promoter, Dante Hayes of the nonprofit Congressional Education Foundation for Public Policy, cannot be located for an explanation."

MEET THE BAILOUT BOYS

There they are, Ben and Hank--The Bailout Boys. Economically, no matter what happens to our Nation, these geniuses, and their children, will be A-OK. The same can't be said for you and me. Trust me, it will be getting worse because Obama will have his own check writers sucking your accounts dry.

There are many opinions about this bailout plan. Millions of Americans think the bailout plan is a failure; experts are beginning to agree. My opinion: total failure. In fact, I think most people go to Washington for the same reason Willie Sutton robbed banks. At the very least, they both use the same methods.

Think you can do better than Ben and Hank? Well, millions on the internet are flocking to one website to see if they can. The Bailout Game allows you to make all the critical decisions involved in saving the U.S. economy. If you run into problems along the way, you can ask Alan Greenspan for advice. Keep the DOW as high as you can and we're home free.

When I played the game our economy went into a deep depression. Deep. Now, see if you're smarter than the geniuses in Washington. THE BAILOUT GAME.

LT. GENERAL HARRY KINNARD--A MAN OF FEW WORDS

With each day's passing, we lose more and more of our great warriors from WWII. Today is no exception.

Today it was announced that Lt. General Harry W. O. Kinnard has died. He was 93.

General Kinnard is best known for his advice to BG McAuliffe on how to reply to the Germans after they asked for his unit's surrender, the 101st Airborne, at the Battle of the Bulge.

Kinnard's advice was simple: one word would do. And from that moment on, the one word reply would go down in history.

"Nuts!"

According to Kinnard's obit, he tired of the "Nuts!" incident being brought up all the time. He recalls one occasion, a small dinner gathering, where it looked as if it wouldn't be mentioned. But, in a quite humorous way, it finally popped up, again.

The Battle of the Bulge wasn't the only time one of his units found itself surrounded, either. Lt. General Kinnard also saw action in Viet Nam, and has a direct connection to the Battle of the Ia Drang Valley. His involvement is recounted in the book, "We Were Soldiers Once...And Young," written by Lt. Gen. Harold Moore and Joe Galloway.

A couple years back, Andrea interviewed one of the heroes from that battle just after he was presented with the Medal of Honor by President George W. Bush--"By The Orders Of Their Own Heart"

Under the command of Lt. General Harry Kinnard, Huey pilot LTC Bruce Crandall:

Rest in peace, General Kinnard. Thanks for your service.

OBAMA TO OPEN UP DIALOGUE WITH HAMAS ?

Unbelievable. As you can see, things are beginning to get scary. The fact that Obama wants to set up talks with Hamas should give everyone pause. I can only hope that this is not true, but I fear it is. Pam Geller has the story, links and commentary.

Later on I found she had posted this video about Hamas killing their own. In addition to the killings, it shows the training of very young children. When I saw that I thought of one thing that happened here in the U.S. during the campaign. I bet you'll think of it as well.

Hypocrites. Criminals. Bloodthirsty. And they live among us here at home. Obama wants to talk to them? Sobering.

COULTER STICKS IT IN DEEP, THEN TWISTS

For most of his career, Johnny Carson didn't have an agent. He had a lawyer. When Carson made a deal, he had his lawyer write it up, and away he went...to the bank. He practically owned NBC. Carson was that good.

I don't know if Ann Coulter has an agent or not, but I think she's every bit as good as Carson was. Why? Because she delivers in a big way. When it comes to the liberal media she knows just what buttons to push and when to push them, especially if she has a new book hitting the shelves. And, it just so happens that Coulter has a new book. Imagine that.

In her WorldNetDaily column this week, Coulter explains the whole NBC flap--the ban--how it all came about, and how it ended. Then, she begins to tear into the MSM, giving prime examples of their slanted, supportive coverage of Obama's campaign. To balance it out, she contrasts with their coverage of Palin. There's much more in the article but it's clear the MSM was scared to death of Palin and head-over-heels in love with Obama. It's equally clear the MSM is scared to death of Coulter too. However, this week, like Carson, Ann Coulter owned NBC, lock, stock and barrel. Here's a snip from her article:

"When the Obama family materialized, the media were seized by a mass psychosis that hadn't been witnessed since Beatlemania. OK! magazine raved that the Obamas "are such an all-American family that they almost make the Brady Bunch look dysfunctional." Yes, who can forget the madcap episode when the Bradys' wacky preacher tells them the government created AIDS to kill blacks!

Still gushing, OK! magazine's crack journalists reported: "Mom goes to bake sales, dad balances the checkbook, and the girls love Harry Potter" – and then the whole family goes to a racist huckster who shouts, "God damn America!"--finish it here.

A lot of people say Coulter is over-the-top when it comes to her criticisms of the MSM and the democrats--that she's too extreme. Sometimes she is, but I don't think it's a negative. Not in the least. In fact, more of us should be just as nasty, over-the-top and deliberate when it comes to the MSM. After all, the MSM is the most powerful force in existence. That power, that responsibility, has not been used to inform the public through truthful reporting; it's been used to more or less destroy a once great Nation. Treason comes to mind.

I will add this: If you want to be as effective as Coulter, you'd better know one thing: the facts. Just the facts, ma'am.

Kudos to Coulter. I'm glad she's on our side.

Well, I started this with a Johnny Carson link, might as well end it with one. Here's Johnny!!

Now, follow me at Twitter. Does Ann Coulter Tweet, you ask? Give me a break. (it wouldn't hurt her to do it more often, though)

HOUSE DEMS BEGIN TO TIGHTEN THE SCREWS

No surprise. We saw this coming in one form or another. Pelosi has strengthened her hand in the house by making a rules change that will make it nearly impossible for the republicans to stop her agenda. For example, "motion to recommit" is a hundred-year-old rule that has all but been eliminated by Pelosi.

“These rules were put in place so that the minority would always have a chance to bring their ideas to the floor and even send a bill back to committee. Over and over again we were able to do that in the last Congress and apparently that was enough for Speaker Pelosi, and so this hundred-year-old precedent has been broken…"--Rep. Roy Blunt.

There are other changes, too. Rep. Roy Blunt of Missouri explains the situation during a Newsmax TV interview. Also, you can read about it here.

Folks, this is going to be ugly.
