HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO "THE FIRST LADY OF SPACE COAST CONSERVATISM"--ANDREA SHEA KING!

This day in nineteen and whatever, Andrea Shea King made her big debut. Today, she's the hardest working American Patriot on Florida's Space Coast... and beyond. I can't tell you how proud I am of her, and I'm sure you'll join me in those sentiments.

"She's just a gal like any other gal."--
except, of course, when she's making a difference on the American political scene. We've seen it time and time again.

Join me in wishing Andrea the happiest of birthdays by dropping her a line or two with your special birthday wishes: RADIOPATRIOT--AT--GMAIL.COM.

Andrea will be off-line for most of the day, so she'll really appreciate your messages when she opens her GMAIL account. And stop by her blog as well--Radio Patriot. You know what to do.

CALIFORNIA STATE SENATOR ORGANIZING BOYCOTT OF RUSH LIMBAUGH

California state senator Leland Yee (D-SF) is organizing a boycott of Rush Limbaugh's major advertisers because Limbaugh was imitating the Chinese language on-air during a recent visit by the Chinese president. This, of course, makes Limbaugh a racist.

Yee is demanding an apology from Limbaugh and is organizing a backlash with lawmakers both in California and nationally.

When it comes to Limbaugh, Yee is able to organize people into taking action in a big way. When it comes to protecting California's financial future and standing in the world, Yee isn't so effective or outspoken. But that's California.

For those of you who haven't been paying attention: California is bankrupt.

Via Drudge:
Arizona to pass 2012 eligibility law? It's being called a "game changer" for Obama if he decides to run for a second term. Whether you believe there's a problem with Obama's eligibility or not, it's not just bloggers and talk radio pushing this issue--state legislatures are now entering the eligibility arena.

**TONIGHT**--THE ANDREA SHEA KING SHOW--9 PM ET

Tune in this evening at 9 PM ET for Monday's edition of The Andrea Shea King Show. We'll be covering the latest news as well as other topics of interest.

Pictured at left: Andrea with Sean Hannity at a dinner in Orlando. And no, Sean won't be with us tonight.

****OTHER ITEMS OF INTEREST****

While watching Fox News this morning, I noted they were talking about what happens if states decide to go bankrupt. This leads me to believe some states are actually considering this option. Either way, not good news for many states. And for the latest financial news, head over to Terresa Monroe-Hamilton's
FINANCIAL NEWS UPDATE. There's something of interest for everyone.

Do you remember Jeff McQueen, the creator of the Revolutionary Flag?
The Radio Patriot has an update on him, plus some great pics of Andrea with the flag while on tour with Tea Party Express.

Jack Cashill: Deconstructing Obama--Andrea Shea King reviewed the book and has it posted.

Here's what could happen if the dollar ever crashes--a video presentation of the day after the crash.

911? We have an Emergency: Melanie Morgan covers the California financial crisis. Well, the Gov said it was a crisis, but I think we've gone well past the point of calling it a crisis. Whatever you decide to call it, when it happens, all states will feel the pain. Lots of pain. Taxpayers will take the brunt of the pain so that lawmakers won't have to. It's good to be a lawmaker, especially in California.

ANDREA SHEA KING SHOW FEATURES ELIZABETH LETCHWORTH--LATEST NEWS FROM INSIDE CONGRESS

Now that Hu's in town, it might be a good time to peruse the Financial News Update at NoisyRoom.

Ronald Reagan's 100th birthday is Feb 6th. The Radio Patriot has a special project in the works that involves you. Take a look.

As the nation keeps a close eye on Obama's home turf--Illinois--Marathon Pundit posts the question, "Will there be a big tax payer rally in Illinois' capital city?" I'm thinking there's going to be one. If not, they deserve the highest state income tax rate.

**TONIGHT--9 PM ET--The Andrea Shea King Show features Capitol Hill insider, the Honorable Elizabeth Letchworth, for a little Congressional Candor. Topic: Repeal of Obamacare. It's a complicated process but Letchworth will simplify it. Also, Letchworth is the founder of GradGov.com, an invaluable site that allows you to not only grade your congressional rep's performance, it puts you in direct contact with them too. GRADEGOV.COM

"We haven't lost HOPE"

The Bob Hope Classic begins tomorrow in the desert of southern California. But this isn't a post about a golf tournament; it's a post about Bob Hope and our fighting men and women.

When the time came to boost the morale of our military, Bob Hope was present and accounted for. Hope was on the job from the early '40s to the early '90s. It's no wonder that Bob Hope acquired the nickname, G.I. Bob.

Now that we're fighting wars both overseas and here at home, I sometimes wonder if we're paying enough attention to those in harm's way. It's easy to get caught up in the political battles here at home and drop the ball on troop support. We can always do better. I know I could. These brave warriors depend on our support--after all, there's no longer a Bob Hope leading the way when it comes to entertaining and supporting our GIs. We can never do enough, so we should always strive to do better.

The video below highlights the many decades of Bob Hope's troop shows. And no, "We haven't lost HOPE," because there's a little Bob Hope in each of us:

Show your support through MOVE AMERICA FORWARD.

SACRAMENTO ATHEIST MICHAEL NEWDOW MAKES ANOTHER RUN AT "GOD"

Just when you thought Sacramento atheist Michael Newdow had gone away, he pops up again. What's he up to this time? The same as usual--removing "In God We Trust" and "So Help Me God" from our nation's legal tender and presidential oath of office.

He's dedicated, I'll give him that. God bless him.

The Sacramento Bee reports.

BEFORE YOU CAN BE EFFECTIVE, YOU MUST KNOW THE HISTORY

Michelle Malkin has posted one of the longest, most comprehensive posts I've ever seen. The title: The progressive "climate of hate:" An illustrated primer, 2000-2010. It's a history lesson.

The Radio Patriot adds to the history lesson by pointing out statements by Obama that the MSM has forgotten about. Here's one of the more incendiary comments that she's isolated for you.

More later.

TONIGHT--THE GIRLS OF "I OWN THE WORLD" JOIN ANDREA SHEA KING--NO COVER CHARGE BUT THERE'S A TWO DRINK MINIMUM

THE BIG NEWS for Friday's Andrea Shea King Show: The girls from I OWN THE WORLD will be joining Andrea this evening for a little girl talk. I suspect we'll be talking with them--all FOUR of them--about their individual talents and how they got involved with one of the funniest sites on the net. And if we're lucky, we'll get them to give us the skinny on the brains behind this off-the-charts entertaining site--Big Fur Hat. I mean, there must be something wrong with this guy since he never fails to find humor at every turn in these challenging, and sometimes frightening, times we find ourselves in.

Whatever the case, we're all glad Big Fur Hat and his crew at I OWN THE WORLD are there to "take the edge off" of life here in what used to be America.

THE ANDREA SHEA KING SHOW--9 PM ET--Be there or these chicks will form a posse and track you down. No, really. The whole crew's probably on some kind of "watch list" in DC. Be very careful. The Radio Patriot has more.

TED NUGENT VS ROSEANNE BARR--HAD IT BEEN A FIGHT IN VEGAS, THE REF WOULD'VE STOPPED IT

THE SET-UP: Ted Nugent, Cornell Belcher, and Roseanne Barr are on a panel with Anderson Cooper. The discussion covers the usual suspects: Sarah Palin, Bush, Cheney, Obama, Mao, Tea Party, rich people, poor people and some I've probably forgotten.

You could write at least 10,000 words trying to comment on the back-and-forth during this panel discussion, but I suggest you just sit back and watch it. Enjoy it.

Terresa Monroe-Hamilton's NoisyRoom has the post free of charge.

112th TO READ CONSTITUTION ON HOUSE FLOOR, LTC LAKIN GETS FAMILY VISIT AT LEAVENWORTH--UPDATED--OUTBURST FROM GALLERY!

Day two for the 112th congress will be most interesting as well as historic. Members will read aloud the entire U.S. Constitution, something that's never been done in the history of the house. (I read somewhere that it's never been done before.) NPR reports--Hey, you're paying for it.

A question comes to my mind: Who gets to read Article 2, Section 1? Wouldn't it be ironic if LTC Terry Lakin's congressional rep drew that assignment? All irony aside, Rep Bill Posey of Florida's 15th would be my choice.

In related news, The Radio Patriot reports that LTC Lakin had his first family visit since being imprisoned at Fort Leavenworth.

UPDATE: Article 2, Section 1 was read by Rep Frank Pallone from New Jersey's 6th district. During his reading, there was an outburst from the gallery that caused the reading to be halted until the Speaker regained control. The SGT-AT-ARMS was ordered to remove the offending citizen(s) from the gallery.

Will Bill O'Reilly (Ted Baxter) pull out the PINHEAD label for those shouting from the gallery? The Vegas money's on "yes."--The Radio Patriot has more.

TONIGHT--ELIZABETH LETCHWORTH JOINS ANDREA TO DISCUSS HARRY REID'S SENATE RULES CHANGE--9 PM ET

This week the Honorable Elizabeth Letchworth, owner-founder of GradeGov.com, will be stopping by the Andrea Shea King Show a day early. Why? Because she wants to alert you to a move Sen Harry Reid plans on making this Wednesday regarding senate rules. Rules that have been in place for 200 years.

Letchworth, a 26 year veteran of the senate, lays out the whole democrat plan in her column at
The Daily Caller. Tonight she'll explain why the dems have cooked-up this plan and why it's important for it to be stopped. After you've listened to her analysis, you can watch the action on the senate floor come Wednesday, the opening day of the 112th congress.

Letchworth will no doubt urge you to use
GradeGov.com to communicate with your senators. Here's the beauty of GradeGov's ability to reach them: the email addresses at GradeGov ARE NOT the ones the members of congress have on their government websites--house.gov, senate.gov. Instead, these addresses are their personal email contacts and, when you email them, they will GET IT. It's the technological version of stopping by their district office to talk with them in person.

Many individuals and organizations have a complete listing of email addresses for congress, but those contacts require you to first fill out a long list of items--personal info--before you get to send your email. Then your email ends up on some congressional server where a staffer might look at it. Might. In most cases, you must be a constituent of that member of congress before they'll accept your communication. This is NOT the case when you use GradeGov. And did I mention GradeGov's free? Just register and you're off and running.

So if you're an individual and just want to send one email to your member of congress, use GradeGov. If you're an organization with a lengthy list of followers with an important issue, by all means take advantage of GradeGov's ability to get inside congress to your member's personal computer email program. And while you're at GradeGov, grade your member of congress too! It makes all the difference in the world. Congress loves hearing from you.

GRADEGOV.COM

Tonight--Elizabeth Letchworth--THE ANDREA SHEA KING SHOW--9 PM ET. We have at least an hour with Elizabeth, so we'll probably cover other issues as well. Be sure to tune in. (USA NEWS reports on Reid's power grab.)

MONDAY IN THE NEW YEAR--MILES AND MILES TO GO...--UPDATED

It's a new year and we have much to do. Too Much. The energy level of 2010 must be renewed and transferred over to 2011; the intensity must grow and be felt at all levels of government. We did this in 2010; we can continue to do it in 2011. We have no choice.

Below are some recent articles that are must reads. Let's begin with the most timely and important one:

The Honorable Elizabeth Letchworth writes in her Daily Caller column about how Harry Reid is planning to change 200 years of senate tradition--a rules change--just so he can further the progressive agenda in 2011 and beyond. *UPDATE: Letchworth has reached the "initial point" with her column and is now taking flak from Media Matters.

The Radio Patriot has posted the first diary entry from LTC Terry Lakin at Leavenworth. Please consider assisting the Lakin family while their head of household is being held as a political prisoner.

Jack Wheeler writes about Barry's Dream. A column about the Barry we didn't elect, and the one we did. The Radio Patriot rang in the new year with this post.

If you remember Rod Serling's Twilight Zone, then you no doubt recall an episode titled "To Serve Man." It was one of Serling's most creepy. In his latest piece, Mark Williams gives you a little heads-up on how we're all about to be "served up" to the forces of evil.

We'll be discussing these articles on tonight's ANDREA SHEA KING SHOW--9 PM ET.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
