35 YRS LATER--CHICAGO'S RICK MONDAY SAVES THE DAY... AND OLD GLORY

April 25, 1976 was the day Chicago Cub outfielder Rick Monday ('72-'76) performed the greatest play in baseball history. During the 4th inning at Dodger Stadium, Monday prevented the American flag from being burned in the outfield by two anti-American dirtbags.
