MICKEY ROONEY'S MOVIE ROLE BRANDED AS RACIST BY SACRAMENTO ACTIVIST GROUP; FILM BANNED

From the Sacramento Bee:


"One of the most beloved and enduring movie actors in American history, Rooney was shocked to hear his comic role as Mr. Yunioshi, Audrey Hepburn's cantankerous upstairs neighbor, had been branded racist by several Asian American activists in Sacramento."

I suppose I'm not that surprised that a group of PC freaks are enraged over a role Rooney starred in back in the early '60s. After all, this is California. Here's what the PCers are all in a twist about:
