PRESIDENTIAL BIRTHPLACES: THE OBAMA YEARS, 1961--2009

In America, the United States of America, there is no one person who is scrutinized as much as the President of the United States. Period. After all, the president is the most important and influential person in our nation. Since the end of WWII, the president has been the most powerful man in the world. Our lives, our futures, the futures of our children and grandchildren depend on this man's decisions, this man's policies. Moreover, billions worldwide depend on this man for their freedoms. Billions. So it goes without saying, a president's life should be chronicled from beginning to end, and then some.

For the record, historians have always dissected presidential lives from before, during, and after their time in the White House. In fact, historians have routinely climbed through presidential family trees, going back generations to report on their family heritage.

The historical documentation of our presidents has its beginnings with our first president, and continuing on through our 43rd. But it seems to have ended with our current and 44th president, Barry Soetoro, AKA Obama. Compared to the previous 43 presidents, there is little that we know for sure about Obama, since, for reasons unknown, he refuses to release his long-form birth certificate. Because of this refusal, the American people have no idea where Obama was born. As a result of Obama's refusal to disclose this most basic of personal information, his NATURAL BORN CITIZENSHIP status has been called into question. This lack of pertinent background information leads one to wonder what else we don't know about this man, Obama.

Currently, the Mainstream Media has little or nothing to say about this issue, and I include Fox News as well because of their ratings. Although Fox has made mention of the issue in recent days, they have failed to go the required journalist distance to include interviews or debates into their reporting. If you thought Bill "Lookin' out for the Folks" O'Reilly would engage this issue on a serious level, you were way wrong. About the only thing you can expect from O'Reilly is "FACTOR PORN." I invented that segment name after viewing Bill's story on topless house cleaners, so credit me when you mention it. Don't forget to stop by O'Reilly's store for Factor Gear. Since all the money goes to charity, Bill can't be all bad.

RADIO TALK SHOW HOSTS AND BLOGGERS:

There are only a few radio talk show hosts and bloggers who have gone the required distance and consistently drilled down on this issue: Michael Savage, G. Gordon Liddy, Andrea Shea-King and Pam Geller, to name a few. For my money, these people are carrying the water on this issue. These are BRAVE people, because going against The One, AKA Obama, often comes at a heavy, personal price. Ask Major Cook about it.

The rest, whether it be mainstream journalists or bloggers who include themselves in the New Media, are simply cowards for not reporting on this story. I'll leave Limbaugh off this list as he's made an attempt to mention the subject, albeit in an offhand way. A mere mention on his show is beyond powerful, and I hope one day he'll be able to fully address the issue. In the meantime, just tune into The Andrea Shea-King Show or read her blog, The Radio Patriot. Just because Andrea was born, politically, on 9-11, doesn't mean she isn't a force to be reckoned with. Trust me, she is.

For your own safety don't get me started on Pam Geller, either. In a debate, Geller will simply tear your throat out. I'm glad she's on our side. Speaking of Geller, why not send a few bucks her way for all the hard work she does--she deserves it. And while you're at it, the BANDWIDTH BEAST over at Lucianne's is constantly looking to be fed. Throw a sawbuck or two her way as well. (Kitty mentioned it was feeding time)

Having said all that, let's get back to those pesky historians.

When chronicling a president's life, all historians begin at the same exact point: the PRESIDENTIAL BIRTHPLACE. Since AKA Obama refuses to disclose or confirm his birth site, allow me to take you down the road of previous presidential birth sites. These aren't just birth sites, they're exact presidential birth sites. Let's begin with the year of Obama's birth and work our way to the present. Enjoy the trip...

AKA Obama was born somewhere on August 4, 1961. Earlier that year JFK took the oath of office as our president. So, let us begin with the exact birthplace of JFK, the 35th president of the United States of America:

JFK-35: Born in 1917 at 83 Beals Street, Brookline, Mass. JFK was the first president to be born in the 20th century. After JFK was assassinated, the family repurchased the birth site and turned it into a memorial. Today it's designated as a National Historical Site.

LBJ-36: Born in 1908, Stonewall, Texas. While still president, LBJ had his birthplace home reconstructed, relying on old photographs and family memories, in the exact location of the original birthplace home. LBJ is the only president to have done this while in office.

Nixon-37: Born in 1913 at Yorba Linda, Ca. Nixon's father built the home about one year prior to the former president's birth. Today it's the site of The Richard Nixon Library and Birthplace. In 1994, Nixon was buried at this site.

FORD-38: Born in 1913 at 3202 Woolworth Avenue, Omaha, Nebraska. Many years after his birth, Ford's birthplace home was destroyed in a fire. Today the site is occupied by a memorial garden and presidential birth site marker.

CARTER-39: Born in 1924 at The Wise Sanitarium, Plains, Georgia. Carter is the first president to be born in a hospital. The hospital has since been renamed in honor of his mother: The Lillian G. Carter Nursing Center.

REAGAN-40: Born in 1911 at 111 S. Main Street, Tampico, Illinois. Reagan was born in a small apartment above the Pitney General Store. The general store is now occupied by the First National Bank. Great man, great location. On one of his many blogging travels to historic sites in-and-around Illinois, Marathon Pundit gave us this great report from Tampico, Illinois.

BUSH-41: Born in 1924 at 173 Adams Street, Milton, Mass. Coincidentally, Adams Street is named for John Adams and John Quincy Adams--father and son presidents. Below is the marker that sits at the corner of the Bush property.



CLINTON-42: Born in 1946 at the Julia-Chester Hospital, 1001 (south) Main Street, Hope, Arkansas. The hospital has since been destroyed and I couldn't find a picture of it. In fact, I couldn't find much information at all. Most of Clinton's presidential pages begin with his boyhood home after arriving from the hospital. After an exhaustive search, I found the old hospital's address and did a property site search. The search gave me the above photo. But before posting it, I called the business located at 1001 Main Street to confirm that this is the actual location where the Julia-Chester Hospital once stood. They confirmed that it was, and then I knew why it was so difficult to find the information through Clinton's presidential sites. Now, to my knowledge, after confirmation of the previous, Bill Clinton is the only president to have a presidential birth site marked with a death site: it's a funeral home. Talk amongst yourselves.

BUSH-43: Born in 1946 at the Yale-New Haven Hospital, New Haven, Conn. The Bush family lived in New Haven because H.W. was attending Yale University after just returning from duty in WWII.

OBAMA-44: Born in 1961. As of this posting, no location of Obama's birth has been confirmed due to his refusal to release his long-form birth certificate. Until he releases this document, I will leave the above photo in place. After all, we know he was born; we just don't know where.
