TROUBLE IN RIVER CITY--SACRAMENTO

The Lodi terror trial involving Umer Hayat has been declared a mistrial. The jurors were unable to agree one way or another.

"At 10 a.m. jurors sent in a note saying they were hopelessly deadlocked in their deliberations. The eight women and four men returned to court and forewoman Deborah Kiriu said the panel was deadlocked. Judge Garland E. Burrell asked if it was reasonably possible for them to reach a verdict if they continued deliberating, and Kiriu said no."

This is troubling. Read the story here.

Michelle Malkin is on it too.
