TONY CURTIS 1925--2010

Bernard Schwartz became the actor known to all of us as Tony Curtis because of Cary Grant.

Curtis (signalman Schwartz) was a WWII Navy veteran and was present in Tokyo Bay during Japan's formal surrender on the deck of the USS Missouri. Using a pair of binoculars, Curtis watched the ceremony from his sub.
