Saddam has been receiving visits from relatives, putting the finishing touches on his will, and now awaits the U.S. to turn him over to the Iraqi government. All of this could happen today or by the end of the weekend. News outlets are saying that his date with the hangman could be as soon as sometime today. Whether it's today or sometime this weekend, it will be a welcome event for millions of family members who lost loved ones to this murderous animal.

UPDATE: Fox News reports Saddam has been turned over to Iraqi officials; will be hanged no later than tomorrow.

UPDATE: Fox News now reporting that execution witnesses have gathered in the Green Zone; Saddam and 3 others will be hanged by 10 PM EST.
