I GOT A BAD FEELIN'

As the election grew closer, we all knew something was going to bust wide open. And it did. Woodward and his well-timed book; now Foley. The Foley "TM" affair was rather well timed, too, don't ya think?

As I said to a friend earlier, "The left doesn't have a plan, but they're sure good at causing trouble." And this trouble just might be the end for the republican party come election day.

I read a post at STOP THE ACLU that didn't make me feel any better about the current situation. It's about our history, congress, and the "left." It applies to everything that's going on today, and, yet, though it's 30 years later, some of the same actors are involved.

RECONSTRUCTING VIET NAM. Here's a taste:

"Ultimately, that’s what the Foley scandal is a part of, stumbling into another Vietnam. The Left and the Democratic Party are so heavily invested in our defeat in Iraq and Afghanistan that they will have to withdraw our troops in order to maintain power. Emboldened, just as in Mogadishu in 1993, our enemies will follow us home."

If you don't recognize this picture, then you're too young, and, in that case, your school probably screwed you good when it came to American History. You should sue.
