INTEREST IN OBAMA'S BIRTH CERTIFICATE OVERWHELMING

Last Wednesday I posted about the Obama birth certificate story. I linked to an article by Joan Swirsky featured in Monday's Tulsa Today.

A couple hours after Swirsky's article was published, all hell broke loose for Tulsa Today: Their internet provider knocked them offline.

TERROR ATTACKS HIT INDIA; 80 DEAD; HOSTAGES TAKEN

The Times of India reports:

"At least 80 people were dead and 250 injured in the terror attacks, hospital sources said."

Fox and CNN are reporting that people holding British and American passports have been taken hostage. The situation is ongoing, not contained. If true--American hostages--this could spin out of control fast.

ACROSS-THE-BOARD SILENCE ON OBAMA'S BIRTH CERTIFICATE--WHY? **Updated**

A lot of people think the controversy over Obama's birth certificate (COLB) is absolutely ridiculous. Whatever your views, something just doesn't smell right.

To date, there have been numerous lawsuits filed across the nation in an attempt to get Obama to reveal the most basic information surrounding his birth--location, hospital, doctor, etc. The fact that lawsuits have been filed is NEWS, but no one's reporting the story. Even the big talkers on the right are ignoring the issue. It's NEWS!

You have to ask yourself why no one's reporting this story, and why doesn't Obama simply provide the information and put an end to this controversy?

President Bush is a very busy man, so he must have forgotten about Ramos and Compean because I don't see them on the list. Now might be a good time to contact our good friend and fellow patriot, Duncan Hunter. I doubt McCain would be of any assistance, so don't bother contacting him.

POLLING STATION--FOLSOM, CALIFORNIA--updated

For me, voting in Folsom is very easy. My polling station is right across the street. Earlier in the day I took a look over there and the parking lot appeared full, so I waited until it thinned out a bit to make my move.

After entering the station, I was greeted by Otis, who pointed me to the correct station for voter sign-in. I'm not sure how long Otis has been working as a volunteer, but I remember him from last year and he does a great job. This particular polling station is always very organized and staffed with the most helpful and friendly volunteers.

At around 2 PM, this station had no lines but had a constant flow of voters arriving. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes.

I was told that Marti, pictured below, is the boss, so she deserves some kudos for the fine job this year. She did, however, have a good crew working for her and they deserve a standing ovation as well. Marti allowed me to take a few pics as long as I had the permission of each voter. I decided not to bother the voters and opted for a couple pics of the crew. (click to enlarge pics)

USEFUL IDIOTS, UNITE!!--PART TWO--w/update for Paul

PART ONE IS HERE. Earlier today, I watched Neil Cavuto interview Senator Menendez (D-NJ), who tried to defend Obama's tax plan to no avail. The good senator, when cornered, simply said he wasn't aware of those figures, etc. Unbelievable.

Cavuto has been interviewing many people from the left about the discrepancy regarding Obama's tax plan and, when trapped by facts, they all employ the same tactic: WALL OF SOUND, or lie! Menendez, in this case, did both. And his final comment seemed to be a threat to Cavuto via the Fairness Doctrine. Hope and Change, baby:
