"Sarah Palin Turns Heads at Tammy Haddad's Brunch"

Palin attends a Georgetown cocktail party and the press doesn't know whether to s*** or go blind. This woman owns them, and they don't like it one bit. Here's the closer to the write-up:

"The hubbub was enough to cause one reporter to quip: "Look at all these reporters who typically rip her a new one mosey on up to her, desperate to get a photograph."

ELIGIBILITY ISSUE WILL CONTINUE: OBAMA RELEASES LONG-FORM BC, NO MENTION OF ARTICLE 2, SECTION 1... UPDATED

*UPDATE: Tonight's Andrea Shea King Show--9 PM ET--will be covering the eligibility issue and today's release of Obama's long-form BC. The Honorable Elizabeth Letchworth will be joining us and adding her expertise to the discussion. Don't miss it!

Here's the set-up: The MSM and Obama stated--paraphrasing, "even the release of the long-form birth certificate will not satisfy the critics."

They are absolutely correct. The issue was never his place of birth or even his birth certificate. The issue is Article 2, Section 1 of the U.S. Constitution: to be eligible to be president one must be a Natural Born Citizen. Our nation's founding fathers thought it so important that they included this requirement into the constitution. During the presser, no mention was made of this requirement.

The birth certificate that was released this morning indicates Obama's father was a citizen of Kenya. Experts--and I don't mean the MSM--must define what being a NBC actually is. My understanding: the founders meant one must be the product of two American parents. Clearly, Obama does not fall into this category.

The White House and the MSM--including all of congress--think you are stupid, stupid, stupid. Also, referring to all who push this topic as "carnival barkers" was a big mistake by the White House.

The Radio Patriot adds her initial thoughts. Out of the Greater ChicagoLand area, John Ruberry of Marathon Pundit offers "The Donald" some great advice. Ann Barnhardt comes out swinging in several posts. And Pitchpull has a problem: more questions than answers.

More to come...

35 YRS LATER--CHICAGO'S RICK MONDAY SAVES THE DAY... AND OLD GLORY

April 25, 1976 was the day Chicago Cub outfielder Rick Monday ('72-'76) performed the greatest play in baseball history. During the 4th inning at Dodger Stadium, Monday prevented the American flag from being burned in the outfield by two anti-American dirtbags.

This and many other stories can be read in Andrea Shea King's Surfin' Safari column at WorldNetDaily.

"WHERE'S THE BIRTH CERTIFICATE?"--DR. JEROME R. CORSI

"It's utterly devastating," reveals a source close to the publisher. "Obama may learn things he didn't even know about himself!"

I hope Dr. Corsi's book is all that and then some. Without argument, the timing of this book's release will add fuel to the growing examination of Obama's eligibility as POTUS.

Donald Trump, one of the few who are willing to bring this issue to the forefront, will be able to ride the added momentum Corsi's book will create.

Looking back, one will recall this isn't Corsi's first rodeo, either. Two words come to mind: John Kerry.

Corsi's book release causes all sorts of problems for progressives, the political establishment, as well as the MSM and certain high-profile bloggers. It fills the tanks with valuable fuel for Trump to take this issue to heights unknown, and while Trump has the mic and TV cams directed at him, he'll have the opportunity to discuss what he's really expert at: economic policies, lack of jobs and how to create them, across-the-board taxation, and how the USA is being treated and disrespected around the globe under Obama's destructive leadership.

Trump is many things in the minds of the American public. But like Corsi, Trump is not a one-trick pony by any stretch of the imagination. Whether Trump is serious about running for POTUS is irrelevant. For now, he's putting on the table an issue the MSM, major political leaders, and bloggers, either refuse to discuss or to discuss honestly: Obama's eligibility to be POTUS. Come hell or high water, this question will be answered.

I hope Corsi sells millions of books and makes as much money. I hope Trump makes billions more too. These are patriots. Are you? In time, all of us will have to answer that question.

For some, talking takes the place of doing--Corsi and Trump are "doers." Another great American patriot did a lot of talking too, but backed his talk with "doing."

General George Smith Patton, Jr. knew that one day his men would have to answer to others as well as their offspring, for their actions. He mentioned as much in his closing statement to them on June 5, 1944. Said Patton:

"The General paused. His eagle like eyes swept over the hillside. He said with pride, 'There is one great thing that you men will all be able to say after this war is over and you are home once again. You may be thankful that twenty years from now when you are sitting by the fireplace with your grandson on your knee and he asks you what you did in the great World War II, you WON'T have to cough, shift him to the other knee and say, "Well, your Granddaddy shoveled shit in Louisiana." No, Sir, you can look him straight in the eye and say, "Son, your Granddaddy rode with the Great Third Army and a Son-of-a-Goddamned-Bitch named Georgie Patton!'"

Today we are in a Great War--will you be able to answer with pride?

GOOD MORNING, AMERICA--YOU HAVE BEEN DOWNGRADED

MARKET NEWS

For Americans and most of the world, the news is not good. If you're a prog, this financial news is like smelling fresh-brewed coffee in the morning. It's something you look forward to.

Terresa Monroe-Hamilton at NoisyRoom
has a piece by Trevor Loudon concerning the US Dollar that goes perfectly with the financial news we're seeing this morning.

It's one thing to discuss the "what ifs" and all that. But to see the "what ifs" actually begin to happen is another thing. As I type this, gold is about to cross into the $1500 range; silver's posting $42. These are Twilight Zone prices. The outlook for America's economy is being downgraded--our future is being downgraded. Your children's future is being downgraded... and it goes on and on.

Economically, we are being destroyed and the reporting at CNBC is strictly limited to reporting the numbers on the board and where they're headed--"what ifs." Not a peep about how we got here and the forces that are in play. No, this is just another day on Wall St. where the numbers are moving fast and in a direction that has everyone's attention. In other words, have another cup of coffee, go to work, don't worry... as your nation goes straight down the toilet.

I SEE DEAD PEOPLE... REGISTERED TO VOTE

This story is via Drudge. After looking through their voter registration rolls, Ohio state officials have found 18,460 corpses who are registered to vote. In a move to improve the integrity of their voting systems, they're removing these people--corpses--from the "active" voter roles. Seems reasonable. But wait...

The story is short
and basically all it says is what I wrote above. But I noted that the reporter failed to ask the obvious follow-on questions: 1. Did any of these dead folk vote in the last election? 2. If they did, where did they vote and who did they vote for?

I would think that Ohio state officials could determine the answers to my questions within a few simple keystrokes. Also, I would think that any politician who lost a close election back in Nov '10 would be most interested in the answers to my questions.

WHY IS TRUMP PLAYING THE ELIGIBILITY CARD? AND IS IT TIME FOR ANOTHER "BIRTHER WEEK" ON THE ANDREA SHEA KING SHOW? YOU DECIDE

Why is Donald Trump pushing the Obama eligibility issue? I don't have a clue. And I suspect only a few know the real answer to that question.

Whatever Trump's motivation, it's a good thing that someone with a platform, a voice, and guts, is sounding off on what could be the biggest constitutional crisis since Nixon finally realized his political fortunes were headed for chapter 7.

I do know Trump is not a "shot and a beer" kinda guy; he's not "working class" by any stretch of the imagination. In the success category, Trump is an over-achiever, fabulously rich and lives in a world few could understand. Trump also has the weight of the world on his shoulders. He's not just rich and famous, he carries around with him the responsibility that comes with all that success--he's a producer. He creates. What's more, Trump's a survivor.

People view Trump as a self-promoting builder of high rises, each adorned with his name. But Trump is not just a name--Trump's a brand. It's true, Trump builds, he promotes, he creates, and not just buildings, either. Trump creates the one thing Obama couldn't create if his life depended on it: jobs. Obama talks about creating jobs, Trump just does it.

Again, I have no idea what motivates Trump when it comes to the eligibility issue. I just know he has brought the issue to the forefront and it's not going away until the question is answered. Who will answer the question? Well, it'll either be congress, the MSM, or the more likely source will be the "new media." I'm going with the NM.

For those on the right who've gone to great pains to label this issue as a conspiracy theory, and those of us who pursue it as conspiracy theorists, nut jobs, fringe elements and the like, I have a piece of advice for you: get with the program lest it hits you like a freight train, because this issue is about to pull into the station.

And for those of you who bravely pursue the eligibility issue, I have some advice for you as well: limit your questioning, your investigation, to what you actually know is true. For now, we do know Obama's father, Obama, Sr., was not an American citizen and therefore his son--your current president--is not eligible under Art 2, Sec 1 of the constitution.

The other undisputed fact: your president refuses to show a long-form birth certificate, fights its exposure through the court system, and will not identify the actual location of his birth, i.e., the hospital. Of course, a court or congress could visit art 2, sec 1 and "reinterpret" what our Founders meant by it, thus giving Obama the green light to finish the job of destroying what remains of our nation. In my opinion, this will not happen, and if it does, it will not stand. Period.

Today, we are John Galt. Even Donald Trump.

"HEY LINDSEY GRAHAM, YOU JACKASS"

Vids below--Ann Barnhardt discusses congressional jackass Senator Lindsey Graham, and then she gives a block of instruction on Islam's holiest of holy books, the koran (burn alert).

Andrea Shea King interviewed Ann last night--an interview you do not want to miss. One thing's for sure: Senator Jackass needs to go in '12. *Correction: '14. Actually, it would be understandable if he simply resigned his seat today, but since Sen. Jackass sits to pee, I doubt he'll be resigning.

THE GOLDEN RULE: HE WHO HAS THE GOLD, MAKES THE RULES--Updated

Joe Kennedy, Sr. had the gold, and he made the rules.

Andrea Shea King has been reading about the Kennedy clan's headmaster, Joe, Sr., in the book Sins of the Father, and last night she was treated to the controversial TV mini-series, The Kennedys.

At the
Radio Patriot, Andrea gives you a glimpse into the book and the first installment of The Kennedys.

UPDATE:
While posting this, I had Fox & Friends on in the background waiting for The Donald to make his newly scheduled morning appearance. Trump was on to comment on the latest news about the economy and the raging fires in the Middle East. No Eligibility issue comments from what I could tell, so I guess that issue, at least for The Donald, is over.

But then came the closing interview of the day: Bush 43's wife was hawking a new book, talking about freedom in America, blah, blah, blah. Then, to close out the interview, Mrs. Bush was asked who her favorite politician was. Was it a republican? Was it Sarah Palin? Was it a conservative? None of the above--it was Hillary Clinton, of course. Her Royal Pantsuit impressed Mrs. Bush because of her fight for women's rights, the example she sets or some such bilge. Like the Kennedys, I've had more than I can take of the Bush clan.

"Miss me, yet?" Nope.
