SAUDIS BEHEAD INDONESIAN GRANDMOTHER

Yes, and these are our "friends." We do business with these people. We protect them.

So this Indonesian lady travels to Saudi Arabia to work as a domestic. Her employer abuses her and won't let her return to her homeland. She kills her employer. Sounds reasonable. But to the Saudis, not so much. They put this grandmother on the public square, then they take a nice, shiny sword and chop her head off. Our "friends." Oh, authorities in Jakarta weren't notified of this action until after it was carried out, so the Saudi regime did apologize for that.

Jim Hoft at Gateway Pundit has the story and gruesome video (Warning).

Now back to the taxpayer funded Magical Marxist Bus Tour...

"THE STORY OF THE EGYPTIAN REVOLUTION"

The story comes from American Thinker, and is told by someone on the ground in Egypt. Focused mainly on how and what has happened in the past week, it also points out the personal struggle for survival you don't often see in news coverage.

Of particular interest for me, is the role of social media. When you fully understand the power of this new tool and how it was used, it becomes clear why the Egyptian government reached for the Internet "kill switch." More importantly, it becomes clear why Obama wants the same capability at his fingertips.
