Paul Harvey: If I Were the Devil
Some say this is not true, that Paul Harvey never said any of this. I don't know, but it makes sense to me, whether Harvey said it or not. There are ways to edit to make it sound as if Harvey said this or said that. However, what you will hear is exactly what has and is happening in our nation. Pass it around... Good day!
One thing's for sure that you can take away from this video: we've all had enough of Obama's policies.

I grew up in the '60s when music took a turn to rock-and-roll, but as a kid I always enjoyed the variety shows on tv that featured crooners belting out some of the best music you ever heard. In time, the variety show format slowly faded away and took the crooners with it. I'm not sure where they went but they were no longer in the mainstream of tv or radio.
Davi is one of few bringing this singing style back into the mainstream, and he's doing it with none other than the music of The Chairman of the Board--Frank Sinatra. Those are big shoes to fill. However, when Davi takes to the stage, you'll instantly know he's on to something. Davi isn't just good at it, he's great.
Another aspect to Davi that caught our attention in a big way: he loves America and has no problem making it known. During this evening's show, Davi will touch on the subject, going into how Hollywood can hold back one's career if you speak of America as an exceptional nation, the greatest of all nations. Following in the same vein as a post I did earlier--"Are Conservatives Really This Stupid," this 4 minute video lays out another look at what's being presented to us and the world as action being taken, when in fact nothing at all is being done. Just words and so-called debate fashioned and presented in such a way that it appears that action is being taken. Hat tip: NoisyRoom.
There was a time in America when NASA had a clear and stated goal of achievement--a purpose beyond the imaginations of anyone on earth. 41-years-ago today, America reached that goal when Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin walked on the moon. Among the great achievements of mankind, this one stands alone.
The space program was born about the same time I was, so I had the privilege of watching as the program advanced from Mercury to Gemini to Apollo. Each stage of progress brought new and exciting images to our tv sets, and we couldn't wait for the next phase as it would bring us that much closer to the stated goal--landing on the moon. To us--the kids--this was pure science fiction.
On July 20, 1969, many of us in the neighborhood were gathered around a tv set in the home of Dr. and Mrs. Ellery Knake of Urbana, Illinois, when we witnessed the greatness of our nation. The world watched with us as Walter Cronkite did the play-by-play. I was 13-years-old. I had no idea at the time, but in three short years I would find myself standing on the banks of the Indian River in Titusville, Florida, as Apollo 17--the final moon mission--left the launch pad with Gene Cernan in command.
Today, I'm not so sure NASA has a purpose, let alone a goal--"...landing a man on Mecca and returning him safely" sounds more like a job for the State Department, but that's just me. However, there was a time, and it was 41-years-ago today...
