Paul Harvey: If I Were the Devil

Some say this is not true, that Paul Harvey never said any of this.  I don't know, but it makes sense to me, whether Harvey said it or not.  There are ways to edit to make it sound as if Harvey said this or said that.  However, what you will hear is exactly what has and is happening in our nation.  Pass it around... Good day!

JOHN RUBERRY--MARATHON PUNDIT--INTERVIEWED AT BLOGCON11

Our friend John Ruberry out of the greater ChicagoLand area is on the road this week covering BlogCon11. While there, DaTechGuy and John sat down for a short video segment covering Ruberry's blog, Marathon Pundit. Watch it here. More BlogCon11 coverage--it seems the "Occupy Denver" folks are causing trouble for the BlogCon11 attendees.

Also from the Windy City, NBC Chicago is reporting on another example of society coming unraveled. A truly savage attack involving an elderly gentlemen on a train platform. This horrendous attack was caught on video and I warn you that it's very graphic.

TONIGHT'S ANDREA SHEA KING SHOW IS ALL BUSINESS

The Andrea Shea King Show--9 PM ET

Joining us again will be Ann Barnhardt of Barnhardt Capital Management, Inc.

Tonight we'll be talking to Ann about economics, specifically the commodities markets. Ann posted this morning about an alarming trend in the cattle/corn markets, and since all commodities translate to the cost of everything we buy, we thought we should have Ann stop by and explain just what's going on in the trading pits of Chicago. As Ann puts it, "This is not a game."

America depends on a vibrant, growing and stable market system, so this interview will be very important as well as educational. Join us at 9 PM ET.

Call the show at: 646-478-4604.

WRIGLEY FIELD'S WINTER WONDERLAND

Chicago is being hit hard by a weather system traveling eastward. Wrigley Field was hit by high winds, sustaining some damage. View Wrigley Field "live" via EarthCam. (Due to weather, I suppose, this cam takes a few seconds to load.)

John Ruberry at Marathon Pundit gives us his weather report from Chicago (Morton Grove, Illinois.)

**Now that the Wrigley Cam is having connection issues, here's "the scene of the crime" cam.
Enjoy.

*TONIGHT'S ANDREA SHEA KING SHOW--CAPITOL HILL INSIDER, ELIZABETH LETCHWORTH... PLUS OTHER LINKS OF INTEREST BELOW

THE ANDREA SHEA KING SHOW--9PM ET.

Capital Hill insider Elizabeth Letchworth, founder and publisher of GradeGov.com, will give an update on the most dangerous and dysfunctional body in DC: your congress. Many topics will be covered, so prepare to take notes--there will be a test. Letchworth updates our listeners every Wednesday night.

*NoisyRoom's Terresa Monroe-Hamilton has posted today's FINANCIAL NEWS UPDATE. A must read for interesting (scary) articles about the economy.
Yesterday's FNU provided this very telling econ info piece that indicates the economy's not doing as well as some would lead you to believe.

*
Trevor Loudon at NEW ZEAL posted a video covering the history of Political Correctness. I thought PC began around the 1960s, but Loudon's presentation takes you back to the original birthplace of this insidious Marxist tool.

*Kitty Myers over on the east coast sent me an interesting article about former congressman Eric Massa. Ordinarily I would've skipped over this piece but since Kitty suggested it, I read the whole thing--6 pages. I'm glad I did, too.

*In today's
Sacramento Bee there's a piece about congressman McClintock. He's my rep here in Northern California. In it, he gives the other members his opinion of the lame-duck session, and offers up a bit of history too. Radio Patriot posted the vid.

*
Gateway Pundit posted about another rep in congress--Jan Schakowski. This Marxist is Marathon Pundit's rep in the Chicago area. Imagine that--Chicago. Schakowski's talking to the Russian media, so what could go wrong there? Read it and watch the vid--you'll see.

*Andrea Shea King's WorldNetDaily column--Surfin' Safari--is hot off the presses. This week she's on top of the latest governmental intrusions into your life--
"BIG BROTHER IN THE PALM OF YOUR HAND." There's more than one govt intrusion this week. If it's important and has to do with the internet, Andrea covers it. Surfin' Safari is published each week and hits the stands on Monday evenings.

THIS IS RICH

From the Chicago Sun-Times:

Obama: Our finances have suffered, too.

July 24, 2010

WASHINGTON -- "President Obama says he can relate to the plight of Americans striving in the struggling economy to pay bills while saving for their kids' education."

*Hit the link up top to finish this short piece on First Family financial woes. Only morons on Chicago's south-side would buy this fiction. Well, they did vote for him.
