NOW ENROLLING
Have you ever gone to your "freakout point"? Do you have any idea where it is? Most, I would argue, have never ventured anywhere near it, but more and more are testing themselves. And not just the youngsters, either.

CAN I GET AN "AMEN"?
Jeff Foxworthy said it about as well as it can be said at this year's CMT Music Awards Show. Thanks to Aaron at Lifelike Pundits for posting this video.
And, now, here's some country music...
THE PLAGUE OF "VICTIMHOOD" SPREADS TO THE NORTHWEST
Earlier today, I listened to Angela McGlowan on The Andrea Shea King Show, then I found this little gem...
Read this excerpt:
RAMAPO - "The trauma of slavery remains a contributing factor in alcohol and drug abuse among blacks, Joy DeGruy Leary, told mental health providers, social workers, prevention professionals and students yesterday.
Leary, a researcher and assistant professor at Oregon's Portland State University Graduate School of Social Work, is noted for her "Post-Traumatic Slave Syndrome" theory. She proposes that some of the clinical and social problems in the African-American community were developed as coping mechanisms to survive centuries of racial oppression."
***I'm not surprised that this is coming out of the Republic of Oregon's Portland State Graduate School of Socialism. "Post-Traumatic Slave Syndrome" is really stretching it a bit, don't ya think? Is there a cure for this ailment, or does it just continue on endlessly, spreading through helpless, future generations like wildfire?
Now, After reading this ridiculous article, you can find the cure for this "syndrome" below...
Now that you've been exposed to the cure, stop by Angela's website--or Amazon--and purchase this wildly available, over-the-counter cure. No RX needed.
WARNING: Possible side-effects include: self-sufficiency, often times leading to prosperity.
OPERATION EAGLE CLAW--27 YEARS AGO
It was the planned operation to rescue the 53 hostages held by Iran in 1980. With the approval of then president Jimmy Carter and headed by Col. Charles Beckwith, the training for the rescue mission went on for months before it was carried out 27 years ago today. Soon after the mission was given the "green light," things began to unravel, culminating in a catastrophic fireball at the initial landing zone within the borders of Iran--Desert One.

WHITE HOUSE CORRESPONDENTS' DINNER
Fred Thompson attended this year's White House Correspondents' Dinner, and rumor has it, he acted as if he wanted to be somewhere else. Well, judging by the entertainment provided, Thompson wasn't the only one feeling that way. Rich Little was the featured act, and he bombed. I know it's a tough room to play but Rich Little's funny years have long since passed. If you want to see what I'm talking about, here's the video. And take note of how Bush introduces Little. "In light of the Virgina Tech killings, I've decided not to be funny....now, here's Rich Little!!" Gee, thanks, Mr. President.
MEMO TO THE WHITE HOUSE:
Next year, use this guy (semi not work safe)

BUSH: REPORT "ABNORMAL BEHAVIOR"
President Bush, while speaking at a high school gathering, reminded everyone that they needed to be on the lookout for people who are exhibiting "abnormal behavior." Bush was referring to the past behavior of the Virginia Tech shooter and people who show similar signs of trouble brewing. From Bush's speech:
WACO REVISITED--HISTORY THAT I WASN'T AWARE OF UNTIL TODAY
During the process of researching for a new book, Jack Cashill stumbled across some rather interesting--and shocking--information about the Waco siege of 14 years ago--today. The specific information, Cashill thinks, was held back by the Clinton Administration and kept from the MSM so that even figures like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson weren't aware of it.
Either way, it begs the question: Did Sharpton, Jackson, and the MSM not know about this or were they protecting Clinton from what would be a massive backlash in the black community? You decide. From Cashill:
"I refer here specifically to the tank assault on the Mount Carmel community in Waco on April 19, 1993.
Sharpton fans might be thinking, “You’re confusing me. What does the death of all those right wing peckerwoods have to do with the Reverend?”
Quite a bit, actually. Twenty-seven of the seventy-four peckerwoods incinerated at Waco were black, ages six to sixty-one. In fact, more than half of those gun-toting, rednecks were minority rednecks, thirty-nine out of seventy-four to be precise, six of them Hispanic, six of Asian descent.
Truth be told, Waco represented the single greatest organized--if largely unwitting--slaughter of black people on American soil since the Battle of Fort Pillow in 1864.
And no, this is not something I read on the Internet. I found a verifiable list of the dead, broken out by age and ethnicity, and counted them. The FBI had given the Branch Davidians video cameras. The Clinton White House knew who was in the buildings. So, almost assuredly, did the major media."
I don't know about you but I'd love to hear Sharpton and Jackson comment on this revelation. After all, they (and the msm) had plenty to say about Don Imus' comment. I found this from Jet Magazine. If true, they had to know.
Jack Cashill's latest article deals with the Waco incident--read it here.

DEAR SANTA....
I know it's early in the season but I'm starting my Christmas list anyway. All I want is for "Her Royal Pantsuit" to win the "democrat" nomination for president. That's all. I think she can be beat and I'm hoping for a landslide. But I'll settle for just a win. That way, maybe the Clinton Dynasty will retreat back to the homeland of New York via Arkansas via Illinois to forever remain marginalized. One can hope, right?
Kim at Wizbang posted a video put together by John Hawkins. A video that illustrates the target-rich environment of "Her Royal Pantsuit" and her loving, dedicated, draft-dodging husband. Even the MSM won't be able to provide enough cover for her. Like shootin' fish in a barrel.
Lock and load...clear on the right...clear on the left...the range is now clear. Fire at will.

SHOULD DON IMUS BE FIRED?---UPDATED
****UPDATE****MSNBC drops "Imus in the Morning" after major advertisers continue to pull advertising.
It's time I added my thoughts on the Don Imus situation over at MSNBC. I watch the simulcast all the time and have for years. Imus is no doubt a complete jerk. Drunk on his power in media, he often treats his guests badly, but they put up with it because he sells their books and exposes them to the all-important New York media market.
I don't watch Imus because I want to see Imus in action, though he is funny at times. I watch the show because of the guests. Most of them are from the left and I get an insight that I don't get while watching them on their regular news programs. It's amazing what they say while doing his show. Their statements during an interview expose to the listeners--without a doubt--that they have an agenda, and that agenda is anti-Bush.
So, the question is: Should Imus be fired for using the term "nappy-headed hos?" Of course he should be. If you used that term at your place of work, you'd be out the door before lunch. It's a term that is clearly over-the-line, and a term a white man can never, nor should he, expect to use without repercussions.
The problem everyone seems to have with this story, is that they soon get off-topic with the obvious side issue: Hypocrisy. Which leads to race baiters like Sharpton and Jackson and the Rap industry. It's an obvious leap to make. However, these two guys, along with the other issues that might pop into your mind, aren't the point of this controversy. What Imus said is the point. Period.
If you use the same terminology at work that Imus used, just expect to be looking for a new job. Give it a try tomorrow and see. Since your employer doesn't have a multi-million dollar investment in you, specifically, and MSNBC does with Imus, things tend to work a little differently. Obviously, then, MSNBC is going to attempt to salvage the situation and move on.
Imus, in my opinion, is Howard Stern Lite. Imus operates, and has for years, with encouragement from the suits, out on the thin edge of controversy. Sometimes he slips over the line without any problems, but this time he leaped over it, which caused everyone to move to damage control.
The damage, however, could be too great. Most of Imus' guests are top flight A-listers who will not want to be on the show for fear they will be viewed in the same light as Imus. With the exception of McCain and Rudy, most politicos will avoid Imus like the plague. More importantly, some of his advertisers are jumping ship as well, which is natural.
The two-week suspension MSNBC deemed appropriate could very well add fuel to the fire. Two weeks off for a rich guy like Imus is not a suspension; it's called a Holiday, and it is being viewed as more of an insult than a punishment.
If you avoid all the other issues that are connected to this story, it's clear Imus should be fired. Those other issues are worthy of discussion and they will be discussed, as well they should be.
One prediction: If Imus avoids the unemployment line, you can bet it's because Imus and/or MSNBC wrote checks to someone. That someone would be Revs Al and Jesse of the Church of United Shakedown Artists.

Code Pink and the Raging Grannies protested outside DiFi's home in California in response to her and her hubby's alleged "war profiteering." The groups are asking that the couple return all profits made during her time as Chair of the Subcommittee on MILCON. Will the MSM finally find time to report on this story???

THANKS FOR ANOTHER GREAT YEAR
Tiger Woods played his way out of a 5th Green Jacket at the Augusta National Golf Club, Sunday. As a result of Tiger's less-than-stellar play, Zach Johnson had his wildest dreams come true. Johnson did the one thing that all winners at Augusta must do: He put himself in position to win. His life will never be the same.
Jack Nicklaus, holder of a record 6 Green Jackets, still owns Augusta, for now.

THE DEBATE ALMOST CAME TO BLOWS
Have you noticed how the biggest domestic issue of our times has been off the front pages and replaced with early onset presidential campaigning? I'm talking about ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION. Well, the problem still exists.
Bill O'Reilly and Jerry Rivers debated about it last night and, as you will see, both sides have strong feelings. O'Reilly sees the issue as black and white, while Rivers is lost in the grey zone. Congress, on the other hand, has the power to face this problem, a problem that could bring this nation to the brink of civil war, but, as usual, they're on yet another vacation.

AND NOW A WORD ABOUT OUR SPONSORS
Michelle Malkin is outdoing herself with this post about "The View" and Rosie. I agree, it's probably time we spoke with the advertisers. We shouldn't have to because they ought to know better, but for a dollar, they will do just about anything.

JUDICIAL WATCH LOOKING INTO FEINSTEIN'S CONDUCT OF MILCON CONTRACTS
Ever since Senator Dianne Feinstein resigned her position from the Military Construction Appropriations Subcommittee, there has been a news blackout. Republicans are strangely silent as well.
