TEA PARTY EXPRESS III: "POST STUPAK" EDITION

DAY 15 will test the organizational skills of TPX III. With six Michigan tour rallies staring them in the face, it will no doubt be an exhausting affair. However, with two recent, high profile successes under their belt--endorsing Rep. Michele Bachmann and Bart Stupak's forced retirement--this crew's not only up for the challenge, but looking forward to it. You see, these patriots don't dig foxholes. Don't even know how to. They're headed in one direction and one direction only: down range.

TODAY'S MICHIGAN TOUR SCHEDULE: Cheboygan--8 am; Petoskey--10 am--Traverse City--11:30 am; Big Rapids--3 pm; Grand Rapids--4:15 pm; Lansing--7:15 pm. All times EDT.

TPX tour embed Andrea Shea King--The Radio Patriot--reports on yesterday's big news: Stupak's forced retirement, and she includes many photos from the Escanaba rally. Reporting alongside Andrea, Fox News' Griff Jenkins.

Last night, the TPX crew was treated to a night out for a good meal. TPX TV set up live-streaming equipment table side and sent out invites so TPX supporters could attend the dinner via computer. During the dinner, viewers enjoyed watching many of the crew members being interviewed. They even had a chat room feature so viewers could interact with the crew. A huge success for TPX TV's Wm and Selena Owens.

President of America's Mighty Warriors, Gold Star Mom Debbie Lee, attended the dinner and took a few moments to talk about her son, Marc Alan Lee. Marc was the first Navy Seal killed in Iraq while defending our freedoms back here at home.

MORE TPX COVERAGE can be found at Marathon Pundit, Noisyroom, and Instapundit. The TPX crew greatly appreciates everyone's tour coverage. Everyone's. It's made a real difference. Less than a week remains, so let's finish strong. **Stupak saves TPX 200 Grand**

TEA PARTY EXPRESS III: "STUCK ON STUPAK" EDITION

***FOX: Bart Stupak retiring after 18 yrs. (congrats TPX III... Bart knew you were comin' to town. FNC's Major Garrett mentioned the TPX tour stops scheduled for this w/e.) Breitbart News has the Stupak resignation video.

Day 14: TPX III enters Stupak Country with its first rally in Escanaba, MI--12 noon, and Sault Sainte Marie, MI--6:00 pm. All times EDT. With only two rally stops today, the TPX crew will be able to get some much needed rest. But not too much, since the enemy never sleeps.

Yesterday's rally in Minneapolis with Rep. Michele Bachmann was a big success, and a major boost for not only the movement, but the crew as well. Tour embed Andrea Shea King has all the details from the Bachmann press conference and rally. Also, this news hit the stands yesterday as well.

Andrea also reports on TPX TV. Did you know the whole system crashed yesterday? Here's why.

One thing I truly believe about the TPX tour and the Tea Party movement in general: it wouldn't be as successful as it is without the talent and dedication of one Lloyd Marcus. He's a gift to all freedom-loving Americans. And I think I'd be remiss if I didn't thank his lovely wife Mary for making this all possible. Someone very big, very powerful, sent Lloyd and Mary our way, and for that I am thankful.

According to Andrea, Lloyd captured the mood of this TPX tour in a recent piece he wrote. Oh, btw, in addition to his many talents, Lloyd can now add AUTHOR to the list. As in BOOK:

Terresa Monroe-Hamilton at Noisyroom posts so much information about the tour, I won't--can't--link them all, so just go to her site and scroll. Another gift to the tour, John Ruberry at Marathon Pundit. He's there for us each day. John emailed this last night--Troglopundit coverage. And John's on the Stupak retirement too.

Instapundit. What can I say?

Glenn comments: STUPAK RETIRES. "Hmm. Somebody watch what he does next for signs of a payoff. . . ."

UPDATE: Michael Graham emails: “The Tea Party is the most pro-family org. ever! Everywhere they go, Dems decide to ’spend more time with family.’” It is funny that he announced his decision in the face of a visit from the Tea Party Express.

LTC ALLEN WEST FOR CONGRESS

Health Insurance Reform is now law. We lost this battle, but not the war. There's plenty of fighting to do in the future, and just voting will not be enough to stave off the enslavement of America. From this day forward, we must be involved at all levels--local, state and national. With technology at our fingertips, we can work and be effective at all three.

Besides candidates in my local and statewide races, I'll be supporting someone outside my state: LTC Allen West (Ret). He's running for Florida's 22nd Congressional District. Why am I doing this? Easy. We need proven leadership in congress, and LTC Allen West defines leadership. And, as we learned this past week, each person in congress has a direct impact on all our lives. Bart Stupak, anyone? Stupak is a coward, a weakling and a self-serving fraud. Don't you think we already have enough of these types in Washington? I do.

I encourage you to support LTC West for Congress. Go to his site and learn more about him. Do your own research as well. Technology puts us all in the same community, so do what you can to reach out and support LTC West, and others like him.

To win this war, we'll need quality leadership, proven leadership. Policy wonks need not apply.
