MONDAY IN THE NEW YEAR--MILES AND MILES TO GO...--UPDATED

It's a new year and we have much to do. Too Much. The energy level of 2010 must be renewed and transferred over to 2011; the intensity must grow and be felt at all levels of government. We did this in 2010; we can continue to do it in 2011. We have no choice.

Below are some recent articles that are must reads. Let's begin with the most timely and important one:

The Honorable Elizabeth Letchworth writes in her Daily Caller column about how Harry Reid is planning to change 200 years of senate tradition--a rules change--just so he can further the progressive agenda in 2011 and beyond. *UPDATE: Letchworth has reached the "initial point" with her column and is now taking flak from Media Matters.

The Radio Patriot has posted the first diary entry from LTC Terry Lakin at Leavenworth. Please consider assisting the Lakin family while their head of household is being held as a political prisoner.

Jack Wheeler writes about Barry's Dream. A column about the Barry we didn't elect, and the one we did. The Radio Patriot rang in the new year with this post.

If you remember Rod Serling's Twilight Zone, then you no doubt recall an episode titled "To Serve Man." It was one of Serling's most creepy. In his latest piece, Mark Williams gives you a little heads-up on how we're all about to be "served up" to the forces of evil.

We'll be discussing these articles on tonight's ANDREA SHEA KING SHOW--9 PM ET.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

MARK WILLIAMS CUTS TIES WITH TEA PARTY EXPRESS

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: July 21, 2010
CONTACT: Levi Russell at (509) 979-6615 or
Levi@FrontLineStrat.com
TEA PARTY EXPRESS ACCEPTS
MARK WILLIAMS’ DEPARTURE

Today the Tea Party Express received a letter from Mark Williams expressing his desire to separate himself completely from the Tea Party Express. Over a month ago, Williams stepped down as Chairman of the organization to pursue other activities, but still offered to remain available as a spokesperson as needed in the future. Today, he went further to completely cut his ties to the Tea Party Express.

A copy of his letter to the Tea Party Express follows below:
__________________________________

“I feel compelled to separate myself from any further involvement with the Tea Party Express so that I can pursue other interests and to free the tea party movement from any more distraction based on my personal comments or blogs.
The media coverage over a recent satirical posting on my personal MarkTalk.com blog risks injuring the Tea Party Express, the tea party movement as a whole, and the people in this movement who I respect and admire so much. It has become increasingly unacceptable that the media and our domestic enemies continue to anoint me as the official voice of a massively diverse and broad-based movement.

This nation is in crisis, and beyond the struggling economy and suffocating deficits, is what I consider to be the most troubling development recently: this nation’s slide towards socialism and abandonment to the fundamental Constitutional principles that have made America great. I do not wish to be used as ammunition against our own cause so to that end I am removing myself from the equation and severing ties to the Tea Party Express.

Ronald Reagan so correctly and eloquently explained that America is truly mankind’s best hope for freedom. Our respect for the individual rights and freedoms is unmatched around the globe yet our politicians in Washington seem determined to change this legacy of freedom. We are in a war for the future of this country and the Left and their allies in the news media have decided to use my personal comments and views as a weapon to injure the tea party movement and conservative activists. I will simply not allow them to do this.

I have so much respect and admiration for all of you at the Tea Party Express and the tea party activists I have gotten to know and work with across this great nation. I am going to continue to fight on the side of liberty but it is clear that doing so with any affiliation with the Tea Party Express is not the best way to do so.

I do however fully intend to continue to fight in the spirit of and for the causes of the Tea Party Movement.

We have a lot of work to do between now and November and I know that the Tea Party Express will continue to serve as a leading voice for the millions of Americans who are determined to take their country back.”

TONIGHT: MARK WILLIAMS WILL APPEAR ON O'RELLY'S SHOW--UPDATED

UPDATE: Don't know why Williams wasn't on O'Reilly tonight. Bill made it clear last night that Williams would be on "tomorrow night." Sorry.

Mark Williams will be on Bill O'Reilly's show this evening--8pm et. Thanks to Andrew Breitbart and the Sherrod video--a video that shows what real racism looks and sounds like--the racial spotlight is no longer on Williams. Mark Williams is no racist--he's just your everyday, hardworking American patriot.

This morning's Sacramento Bee has found more space on the front page to talk about Williams:

"Sal Russo, a GOP strategist who created a committee that has raised $5 million to fund the Tea Party Express and its political causes, said Williams is a man 'without a racist bone in his body' who is being 'attacked and vilified' unfairly."

MARK WILLIAMS PURGED FROM TEA PARTY MOVEMENT--updated w/TPX statement

This story just hit the wire so I'm not sure what it all means just yet, but I have a feeling it isn't good. Read on.

Joe Wierzbicki, coordinator for the Tea Party Express, issued the following statement Monday in response to the Tea Party Federation’s announcement Sunday about the Federation’s relationship with the Tea Party Express:

“The Tea Party Express with over 400,000 members is by far larger than the Tea Party Federation’s entire membership. Most rank-and-file tea party activists think we’re talking about Star Trek when we try to explain who the “Federation” is. Given the absurdity of the actions by the “Federation,” this is quite fitting, since their conduct is alien to our membership.”Groups trying to say who can or can’t be ‘expelled’ from the tea party movement is arrogant and preposterous. Perhaps this explains why so many tea party groups have left the “Federation” during the past few months. Whatever the reason, most tea party activists are focused on taking back their country and the upcoming 2010 elections and not silly power games being played by individuals such as those in the “Federation.”

“To add to the absurdity of the “Federation” they have also informed us that our members can’t participate in something called their “basecamp” communication network, which makes us think that the individuals involved in the “Federation” spend a bit too much time watching science fiction movies and cartoons. We here at the Tea Party Express prefer a focus that is more grounded in the Constitution and electing tea party conservatives to offices of import in these 2010 elections.

The “Federation” has enabled and empowered the NAACP’s racist attacks on the tea party movement, and they should be ashamed of themselves.

“Circular firing squads of groups within the tea party movement attacking one another accomplish nothing, and on this issue the Tea Party Federation is wrong, and has both enabled and empowered the NAACP’s racist attacks on the tea party movement. Which is something they’ll realize when they beam themselves back from basecamp.”

GERALDO CONFIRMS TEA PARTY EFFECTIVENESS--Updated

Last Saturday night, Geraldo did a segment on the Tea Party that suggested the movement was in danger of being infiltrated by people wanting to do violence. Being the good soldier, Geraldo had Mark Williams follow the obvious hit piece for comment. Williams gave a block of instruction that appears to have shaken Geraldo, prompting him to cut the segment short. But no matter how foolish Gerado looked, he will continue his attempts to discredit the Tea Party movement. It's what the left does. Geraldo, and others of similar mindset, are afraid. Very afraid. (PEW Research)

Update: Here's Geraldo mocking the Tea Party with his own protest sign. (Sunday)

TEA PARTY EXPRESS III: CORNHUSKER EDITION

Day five of Tea Party Express III brought the crew to the state of Colorado. Rallies were held in Grand Junction and Denver, where big crowds of American patriots were on hand to greet the buses as they pulled in. Andrea has a report with lots of pictures at Radio Patriot. Pictured below is the Denver crowd, and they brought a few signs with them.

TODAY--Day 6--takes TPX III to North Platte, Nebraska at 10:00 AM, then on to Omaha for a 5:00 PM rally. Be sure to check the tour's schedule for upcoming rallies, latest news, and TPX TV. You can watch the rallies from start to finish with TPX TV--don't miss this opportunity. As a bonus, Marathon Pundit adds to the Tea Party experience by taking us back in history. Thanks, John! (Btw, Marathon Pundit will be attending TPX III when it arrives in Rockford, Illinois.)

DAY 3: ON THE ROAD TO UTAH WITH TEA PARTY EXPRESS TV

After two Sunday rallies in Arizona--Phoenix and Flagstaff--members of the Tea Party Express loaded onto their buses early this morning for a short, 600 mile hop to St. George, Utah.

The St. George rally is scheduled for 3:30 PM.

Technology is a big part of TPXIII, allowing organizers and supporters to reach as many people as possible, and this is where Tea Party Express TV comes in.

Unless you're an embed on the tour, there is no way to attend all the rallies. But with TPX TV, you can attend "live" via your computer. Last night I watched the Flagstaff rally from right here in Northern California.

I watched Amy Kremer, Mark Williams, Andrea Shea King, Lloyd Marcus, JD Hayworth, Debbie Lee and the rest of the TPX crew speak to a gathering of American patriots. Did I mention The Rivoli Revue and Diana Nagy? Yep, them too. I almost forgot Polatik--he's new, talented and a big hit at the rallies.

SO HERE'S THE DEAL: Head over to the Tea Party Express III site. On the menu bar at the top, hit TPX TV, sign up, bookmark, check the schedule, and you will be able to invite your friends and family to the next TPX rally via your computer. And when the tour comes to your area, be there--bring someone along too.

TPX TV was developed by William and Selena Owens. It's one of the best additions ever for the tour. In addition to TV, Wm and Selena produce the beautiful TPX III commemorative journal pictured above. Check out both at TPX TV--you'll be glad you did!

Hey, while you're still here, go on board the Gold bus with Lloyd Marcus.

More to come...

**TONIGHT AT 9 PM EST:

The Andrea Shea King Show
will broadcast "live" from Utah after the rally in St. George, updating you on the latest from the TPX III tour. Don't miss it.

DAY ONE: ANDREA SHEA KING SHOW--SEARCHLIGHT, NEVADA

After a long day of travel on Friday and an even longer day of Tea Party rallying in Searchlight, Nevada, Andrea Shea King did a show this evening as the Tea Party Express III buses were pulling into Henderson, Nevada, for the day's second rally.

Andrea gave us some details of the day, but because of time constraints couldn't give a full accounting of the day's events. But what a day it was! Andrea did the show "live" from on board one of the Tea Party Express III buses, included were interviews with people who were invited speakers as well as tour embeds. A great day for America. Harry Reid, not so much.

Sunday, the tour will be in Arizona for two rallies. Check the tour schedule for times and locations. Andrea will be broadcasting from Arizona Sunday evening, 9pm et.

"ANDREA SHEA KING SHOW" EMBEDS WITH TEA PARTY EXPRESS III

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: March 8, 2010

ANDREA SHEA KING JOINS TEA PARTY EXPRESS III

FROM SEARCHLIGHT, NV TO WASHINGTON, D. C.

MARCH 27 - APRIL 15

The Tea Party Express is pleased to announce that conservative leader Andrea Shea King will be joining the Tea Party Express III: Just Vote Them Out national tour.

"I am delighted to be part of this historic national tour, and look forward to meeting and writing about the good people of America from Searchlight, Nevada all the way to "the scene of the crime," Washington DC. Join us along the way as we make this journey one for the history books!" - Andrea Shea King

The Tea Party Express III: Just Vote Them Out Tour kicks off March 27th with the "Showdown in Searchlight" - a mega-sized tea party rally in Senate Marjority Leader Harry Reid's hometown of Searchlight, NV (population: 700). Joining Ms. King at the rally will be Gov. Sarah Palin, Joe The Plumber, Saturday Night Live's Victoria Jackson, nationally syndicated radio host, Roger Hedgecock, conservative commentator and columnist, Andrew Breitbart, and many others.

Andrea Shea King has increasingly become one of the most relevant voices in the conservative movement. Besides the radio shows which have gained her such a loyal following, she is also a columnist for numerous conservative publications, and publishes her own blog. Most importantly, Andrea is a citizen-activist first. She was there in support of the first round of tea parties in 2009. She joined up with Tea Party Express II when it concluded it's national tour in Orlando, Florida.

And now Andrea Shea King will cross the nation with Tea Party Express III speaking at rallies, and reporting her experiences, and relaying the words and voices of countless Americans at these rallies, to her radio and print audiences.

"We are truly honored to have Andrea joining us for the entire tour - from the March 27th 'Showdown in Searchlight' kickoff to the grand finale 'Tax Day Tea Party' in Washington D.C. on April 15th. Andrea Shea King has earned tremendous respect from many within the conservative community and tea party movement because she takes real action as a citizen-patriot," said Levi Russell, Communications Director for the Tea Party Express.
